			<title>Pack Meeting: Family Campout &amp; Water Bottle Rockets - Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM</title>
			<link>http://www.pack002.com/event.php?EID=3330</link>
			<content:encoded xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Legacy Park - Bandstand - Hello Pack 002,

Come on out for a Summer Time Campout and Water Bottle Rocket launching! We will be camping at the Bandstand in Legacy Park Saturday July 31. The pack will provide smores and you are to provide dinner and breakfast for you and your scout(s). We highly encourage each den to get together and plan your meals. Hobo meals or silver turtles would be an awesome meal for dinner. Here's the link to learn how to make them.
http://www.boyscouttrail.com/content/recipe/recipe-193.as

What are water bottle rockets you may ask? Well let me tell you. You take a couple of two liter bottles, tape on some fins on one and use the other as a nose cone and then launch it with some water and air pressure. We even have a double launcher so you can race your friends. You are definitely gonna get wet with this event! Check out some of the following pics to give you an idea of how it all works.

If you don't plan on camping, please plan on attending the events.

We look forward to seeing you there.</content:encoded>

			<title>Pack Meeting: Waves of Fun!! - Monday, August 30, 2010 at 6:30 PM</title>
			<link>http://www.pack002.com/event.php?EID=2925</link>
<content:encoded xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Kennesaw Elementary - Jump in and make a BIG splash with fun activities that explore water and waves. There is an adventure waiting in one of Earth's final frontiers, the depths of the ocean floors. Creatures never imagined before can be found there. What kinds of animals do live there? What does the ocean floor look like? The den could discover what makes a boat float, learn about different sea vessels, and even make their own boats. The pack can celebrate this month with a beach party (no beach required) and family picnic as they enjoy the great outdoors. Complete the requirements for earning the National Summertime Pack Award. This is a fun month to bring a friend! This is a wonderful opportunity to teach water safety and practice the buddy system while having fun and earning the Swimming belt loop and pin.
